On the 15th December 1992 an iconic designer stepped through the gates of Buckingham Palace to accept an OBE. Many, saw accepting the honour as a direct contradiction of everything she stood for. However, with one photo Vivienne Westwood showed the world she wouldn’t change for anyone or anything.
